Our Team

Faith McGinn, FNP, IBCLC

Family Nurse Practitioner

Boarded Lactation Consultant

Faith is a general clinician that founded the practice. Although she enjoys working with all humans, she brings a special focus to emerging families (parents and babies), mental health, full-scope women's care, medical weight management and gender care. Her career began in 1996 as a birth doula, childbirth educator, and lactation educator, where she quickly recognized the struggles many families faced with breastfeeding due to conflicting advice.

Equipped to treat all ages and stages as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Faith strives to gain the trust of her clients. She believes that listening, and investing time in her clients is her strongest diagnostic tool. She also stands for choice in healthcare, bodily autonomy and integrity with a humanist ethic.

A lifelong learner, Faith is about sharing knowledge and currently serves as nursing faculty at local colleges and universities. She recognizes the power of group care and offers classes and support for families planning for birth and successful breastfeeding. Additionally, she has created a popular YouTube channel, wagonbird, which has 6 million views and 30,000+ subscribers. Her online courses are available for both parents and professionals.

In her spare time, Faith enjoys time with her daughters and partner and laughing with friends. She tries to avoid the outdoors and eats in restaurants when possible. Her goal is to empower the community and help individuals achieve the healthcare partnership they truly deserve.
